Welcome to the Texas Behavioral Health Clearinghouse
The Clearinghouse, developed by the Center for Social Work Research at the University of Texas at Austin, is a service provided by the Texas Mental Health Transformation State Incentive Grant.
The Clearinghouse is a resource designed to assist behavioral health providers, consumers, family members and interested stakeholders in finding up-to-date, relevant information about prevention, treatment, advocacy, and evidence-based practices.
The Clearinghouse has three components:
- The Consumer Resource Room provides descriptions of and links to websites and resources on an array of topics relevant to behavioral health consumers, family members, and the general public.
- The Provider Resource Room offers links to a variety of websites and resources that behavioral health providers may find useful. They are organized by behavioral health topics and special populations. Links to information about evidence-based practice implementation are also included.
- The Resource Directory of Evidence-Based and Other Practices provides users with a single-entry point to locate information on evidence-based and other behavioral health practices identified by authoritative organizations using rigorous review processes. The Directory presents information about each resource in a way that facilitates the users’ search for evidence-based and other practices.
